El Arish Tropical Exotics, Company

Welcome to El Arish Tropical Exotics. We are a family operated nursery providing landscaping services as well as a large and ever expanding range of online tropical plants in Australia. We specialise in growing and selling a wide range of plants suitable to lush, resort style tropical gardens including heliconias, gingers, costus, cordylines, brugmansias, palms, brugmansia, bromeliads and more. In our experience we have found that there is very little good information available for tropical gardeners wishing to achieve a lush resort style tropical garden and even fewer high quality nurseries to source them. In an age of nursery mass production tailored to unremarkable, forgettable gardens we provide an alternative. We'll help you create a tropical paradise that will enhance your life, improve your property value and provide a safe haven for wildlife, your kids and a great place to knock back a couple of margaritas with friends. Our location in the Australian Wet Tropics combined with our commitment to healthy soil and sustainable growing practices gives us strong, healthy, vigorous plants. All of the heliconias, gingers, costus and other species of plants you can buy in our online store are trialled here in our nursery before they make it to our catalogue. Our goal is to bridge the gap between collectors and home gardeners. We want your garden to be special. Our extensive plant profiles give you detailed information on all of our plants including dimensions, temperature ranges and growing conditions. Our blog contains in-depth articles on how to successfully landscape with tropical plants whilst our landscaping pages detail the landscape gardening work we have performed for various clients. We hope that sharing our knowledge and plants with you will help to create your own little piece of paradise. This nursery was founded by and is solely owned and operated by Scott and Ann Cains.
